After skipping the traditional September/October announcement and announcing just the Patagotitan in February, Safari had made us fear that this sauropod would be the only model for 2022. But fear not, Safari has simply changed strategy: instead of a single release, there will a number of releases along the year.
The second batch, this time three models long, was published this week: the first was Nanotyrannus. Although many were upset by the name used, it’s probably some marketing strategy related to Safari’s partnership with the Dino Dana series:
It followed what for many is the most interesting release, the ankylosaurid Zuul, also in partnership with Dino Dana:
And at the end a long-requested model, the Tyrannosauridae Albertosaurus:
