The upcoming Safari LTD releases were revealed at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. What’s new is that each of the four animals looks like it was done by a different sculptor:
First is Megalosaurus, a very appropriate choice since 2024 the bicentenary of its description.
Then Austroraptor, a huge dromaeosaur perhaps specialized in hunting fishes:
The Alaskan Tyrannosauridae Nanuqsaurus:
And finally Saltasaurus, an armored sauropod from Argentina, almost a remake of the Carnegie model from 1997.
